Say Grace Learning Journeys are organized into PreK–K, Grades 1–2, Grades 3–4, and Grades 5–6, allowing your group to explore related themes while each learner works at an appropriate level. Say Grace uses a spiral learning approach that allows learners across multiple grade levels to explore the same core topic each week while engaging with it at different levels of depth and ability. Instead of a guide juggling completely separate subjects, themes, activities, and supply lists for every grade band, the group can read, discuss, experiment, create, explore, and learn around one shared weekly focus, making multi-age learning far easier to organize and often allowing materials and supplies to be shared across activities. Each grade band builds on the same theme with developmentally appropriate expectations, giving learners a wide variety of ways to participate. This also creates natural opportunities for children to stretch beyond their assigned level: a faster or more curious learner can listen in, contribute to, or try elements of a higher-level activity, while an older learner who needs additional reinforcement can revisit a concept through a more concrete or hands-on experience without being separated from the group. Everyone can learn together while still being challenged and supported at the level that works for them.

Each learner receives a unique Child ID that grows with them rather than starting over each school year, allowing their Learning Village, accomplishments, travels, rewards, favorite weekly memories, and photo album to become a one-of-a-kind portfolio of their journey. The Compass
The Compass is the digital hub that helps bring every part of the Say Grace Learning Journey together. Designed to support rather than replace hands-on learning, The Compass gives guides one organized place to manage learners, track progress, verify completed learning weeks, customize optional experiences, reopen weeks when life changes the schedule, and access or export learning records. For small groups, it adds the flexibility to manage multiple learners and guides while respecting individual family preferences and keeping parents connected to their child’s progress. Learners experience a safe, engaging world of rewards, challenges, exploration, and growing accomplishments, while guides maintain control behind the scenes—making The Compass adaptable enough to work with the unique rhythm of each group.

Say Grace gives guides the tools and support they need to lead with confidence, without having to figure everything out on their own. From the Quick Start Guide and comprehensive Master Guide Handbook to weekly planning tools, learning growth trackers, progress resources, and implementation guidance, our resources are designed to make preparation and day-to-day learning easier to manage. Guides also have access to training and certification opportunities through the Play Your Way Learning Method, helping them understand not only how to use the program, but how to confidently adapt it for different ages, schedules, learning environments, and group needs. The result is less time piecing together a program and more time creating meaningful learning experiences with the children they serve.

Guides receive curriculum direction, planning and implementation resources, progress-tracking tools, administrative features within The Compass, and the flexibility to coordinate multiple learners and grade levels in one organized system. At the same time, participating in a group doesn’t mean families have to hand over every learning decision. Individual learner settings and optional experiences can be adapted to reflect family preferences, while progress information and learning records help keep parents connected to what their child is doing and how they are growing. The guide manages the day-to-day learning experience; families continue to have a voice in the choices that matter to them. It’s a collaborative approach that gives group leaders enough structure to lead effectively without requiring every child or every family to learn in exactly the same way.

Say Grace is designed to give you an entire learning experience not simply a stack of lessons to complete. Each weekly theme connects reading, writing, math, science, geography, hands-on activities, real-world exploration, creative projects, skill practice, assessments, and optional Compass experiences into one organized journey. From there, groups can expand the experience with enhanced learning activities, themed products and resources, and stand-alone additions such as our Early Reader Adventure books, choosing the pieces that best fit their learners. Instead of spending hours searching for unrelated activities and enrichment materials, guides have a growing collection of coordinated resources built around the same learning themes, making it easier to create a rich, memorable experience while still having the freedom to make it their own.
More to Discover Under the Discovery Tree
Learning doesn’t have to stop when the week’s lessons are finished. The Discovery Tree is Say Grace’s growing library of hundreds of free resources families and group leaders can explore anytime from printable games, coloring pages, crafts and hands-on activities to letters and numbers, plants and animals, careers, seasonal fun, and more. Use them to extend a weekly theme, give a learner extra practice, fill an unexpected bit of downtime, or simply follow a child’s curiosity wherever it leads. These resources are available whether or not they are part of the week’s curriculum, giving guides even more ways to adapt Say Grace to the interests, abilities, and needs of their group.
